Today we launch Dezeen Awards China 2025, in partnership with Bentley, and begin this year’s search for the best buildings, interiors and designs from China.
Now in its third year, Dezeen Awards China is Dezeen’s only regional awards programme. Run by a dedicated China-based team, it sits alongside Dezeen’s flourishing WeChat and Red accounts.
Through these initiatives, Dezeen continues to build its relationship with the architecture and design community in China.
We’ve discovered a wealth of design talent – the breadth, quality and scale of the work being produced is enormous, and we’re excited to see more this year!
Spotlighting architects and designers doing great work has been our motivation since Dezeen was founded. Given Dezeen’s global reach – our audience totals more than 10 million across our website and social media channels – we’re uniquely positioned to showcase and celebrate your work both in China and beyond.
As one of the largest and most influential design media brands in the world, ultimately Dezeen’s strength is our ability to shout about great design.
Dezeen Awards China offers opportunities to smaller studios and emerging designers, as well as established voices. Our tiered entry prices mean that smaller studios can enter at a lower price, and we have also frozen our prices for 2025 to make the programme as accessible as possible.
Once again, our judges include both international stars as well as home-grown names from diverse design backgrounds, ensuring every project will be judged rigorously from both local and global perspectives.
We’ve added new categories, too, that reflect China’s leading position in manufacturing and technology. These include Technology design, Office and industrial buildings, and Material innovation. We’ve also added a small interior category to offer more opportunities for emerging designers.

Dezeen Awards China is the first regional edition of Dezeen Awards which celebrates the best architecture, interiors and design in China.
Now in its third year, the annual awards programme is in partnership with Bentley as part of a wider collaboration to inspire, support and champion design excellence and showcase innovation that creates a better and more sustainable world.
This ambition complements Bentley’s architecture and design business initiatives, including the Bentley Home range of furnishings and real estate projects around the world.
